Bucket Elevators

The purpose of Bucket Elevators is to lift material from one level to another and discharge it into a chute or conveyor. It consists of buckets as per specific requirement and capacity, attached to either belt.

We design and manufacture both types of bucket elevators to efficiently handle most varieties of dry, free-flowing bulk materials, with high design standards, quality manufacturing & reasonable price.

Types of bucket elevators, we manufactures are:

Continuous Bucket Elevators: - Designed to handle fragile materials to minimize product damage.

Centrifugal Bucket Elevators: - Operate at high speeds to throw material by centrifugal force out of the buckets into the discharge spout as the buckets pass over the head sprocket or pulley.

We maintain the spacing of buckets at wider intervals to assure maximum fill of the buckets at the boot while moving at higher speeds.

Our elevators are designed to cover practically every need in elevating each possible material to covey. For more details, please download our technical catalogue.

Application -

Cement, Foundry, Fertilizer Plants Rice / Food grain mills, Sugar Industries

1] CHAIN TYPE ELEVATORS

2] BELT TYPE HIGH SPEED ELEVATORS

Saikrupa engineers have over the last two decades accumulated experience in elevating a variety of bulk solids and in the process solved many complex problems. Saikrupa bucket elevators are made to a standard high quality design based on IS: 7167. Casings are fabricated from steel sheets and liberally stiffened to give added load carrying capacity and true alignment. Buckets are made in various shapes and sizes with edge reinforcements whenever necessary. Chains are normally used for elevators with heavier duties, high capacities and lifts. Belts are recommended for handling free flowing materials as also for corrosive materials which may damage a normal chain. While pin and bush type chain is normally used, link chain and U-bolt combination is provided on heavy duty elevators handling abrasive materials. Six types of elevators are included in Saikrupa's manufacturing programme to cover most of the applications:

  • Centrifugal belt type
  • Centrifugal chain type
  • Centrifugal link chain type
  • Continuous belt type
  • Continuous chain type
  • Positive chain type
